Don’t Miss Out! Best Late Night Happy Hours in Grand Cayman

Sometimes you’re just not ready to end the night. If you want to keep the drinks flowing but also save some cash (plus earn Bite Club points at the same time), head to Craft F&B Co. or Lone Star Bar & Grill for two of the best, and only, late night happy hours on the island.

Craft F&B & Co

Location: Seven Mile Beach
When: Daily, 9 pm – late
What: Late-night happy hour on beer, cocktails and snacks

Bite Club recommends: Craft ale with a jar of truffle popcorn & sweets

Brand new, Craft’s ‘Big Easy’ Late Night Happy Hour offers amazing deals on beer, cocktails, and snacks. Who isn’t in the mood late-night for salty, crunchy truffle popcorn and sweets washed down with a small-batch ale or freshly shaken, ice-cold cocktail? Pull up a stool at their beautifully modern bar or settle in at a table at the back for some classic board games. There’s nothing quite like Craft’s elegantly cool gastropub vibe.

If the late-night happy hour drinks are making you hungry for more than a snack, Craft presents an extensive menu of elevated classics. Always able to offer familiar comfort foods with an elevated twist, it’s the exact type of fare people crave late in the evening. The Korean Chicken Wings are crispy, juicy, and unctuous, blending together bright chilli flavour with sweet and salty notes from the gochujang paste. All the familiarity of a game-day comfort food dish is taken to the next level by unique Asian seasonings. Still hungry? Try a Craft signature dish. From the new grilled steak bowl with mouth-watering certified Angus beef, rice, beans and a ton of fresh Mexican-inspired accompaniment, to the blackened mahi with bok choy, mango butter sauce and a bright bulgur wheat salad, there’s plenty to curb those after-dark cravings.

The best part of the late-night happy hour deal is that it’s on every night from 9 pm until closing. With craft beers on offer for only $6.50, signature cocktails, plus custom sweet & salty snack jars, you wouldn’t want to head anywhere else late at night… except maybe Lone Star Bar & Grill.

Lone Star Bar & Grill

Location: Seven Mile Beach
When: Daily, 11 pm – midnight
What: $5 wine, bottled beer and well drinks

Bite Club recommends: a cold $5 beer on a hot night

Nearing 11 pm but still want a casual nightcap without paying ridiculous prices? Make your way to Lonestar for their unbeatable $5 Last Chance Happy Hour. It’s tricky to find anything in the Cayman Islands for that price, but at Lone Star Bar & Grill you can take your pick from wine, bottled beer and well drinks. It has to be one of the best happy hours on the whole island, and they run this deal twice daily! Established in 1985, Lone Star is not only the premier sports bar on island but also best in class for a relaxed atmosphere and prime people watching. Lone Star’s Last Chance Happy Hour is available from 11pm-midnight so it’s the perfect time to end the night right — having fun and saving money.

Heading out on a Thursday night? Lone Star’s Rock’n Roll Bingo is one of the most popular weekly events in Cayman. Guess the song (no Shazam allowed) while drinking cold beers and indulging in Lone Star’s famously delicious ribs. Rock’n Roll Bingo takes place every Thursday night at 8 pm. Start with bingo and stay for late-night happy hour. If you can’t make it on Thursdays, Lone Star hosts another great event every Friday. Kick off the weekend right at Lone Star with their Fajita Fridays deal. Dig into a generous dinner of fresh sizzling fajitas at half price, then finish the evening with some crisp, cold late-night happy hour specials.

Looking for other happy hours at different times? Lone Star offers the same amazing $5 happy hour from 4-7 pm daily. In it for the long-haul? At Guy Harvey’s Boathouse Grill, 2-4-1 happy hour runs for five whole hours, from 2-7 pm, Monday through Friday. There are two great picks at Camana Bay with Mizu’s Sake Maki happy hour, specialising in unique sake cocktails and sushi or The Brooklyn Pizza & Pasta, offering $5 drink and appetiser specials. Protip: Brooklyn’s freshly made happy hour flatbreads (so crispy, chewy and rich) pair perfectly with an icy Aperol spritz. Then again, what doesn’t pair nicely with an Aperol spritz?

As a bonus, you can earn Bite Club points at any of these events and late-night happy hours, making your next visit even cheaper! Because if you haven’t had Craft’s rich, salty poutine or Lone Star’s Big Bang Nachos piled high with crispy chips and their outrageously tender pulled pork, you’d be coming back soon anyway.
